IP^TM Plug-in Downloads for Petrel 2007 and 2008*

The IP^TM Plug-in for Petrel allows Petrel 2007, 2008 and 2009 users to import and export wells, well logs and well tops between an Interactive Petrophysics^TM database and  Petrel 2007, 2008 and 2009 projects.

*The IP 3.5 plug-ins for Petrel 2009 are 32 bit only. IP3.6 has 32 bit and 62 bit plug-ins.

Using the Plug-in

Once the plug-in is installed it can be accessed from within Petrel via the Interactive Petrophysics menu located within Petrel's File menu.

The Interactive Petrophysics menu contains four entries:

• Import from Interactive Petrophysics

  Allows you to import data from an IP database into a Petrel project.

• Export to Interactive Petrophysics

  Allows you to export data from a Petrel project to an IP database.

• Launch Interactive Petrophysics

  Launches the Interactive Petrophysics application if it has been installed on your PC.

• Check for updates

  Checks to see if there are any updates available for the plug-in.
