Guidance on best practices for offshore renewables site investigations has been developed by the Offshore Site Investigation and Geotechnics (OSIG) committee of the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT) over the past few years. These guidelines, prepared by a cross-industry sub-committee of OSIG, cover all forms of offshore renewables including wind and hydrokinetic devices and will be introduced at the Oceanology International conference in London this week.
