Senergy has been listed as one of the UK’s top private companies with the fastest growing international sales.
The inaugural Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table features Senergy in 90th place in a list of 200 UK firms – one of only nine Scottish companies included. International sales grew 43% a year from £6.9m in 2009 to £14m in 2011.
The listing comes on back of Senergy’s inclusion in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table of the 100 British companies with the fastest growing sales over their latest three years, which was published in December 2011.
Senergy’s COO, Alasdair Buchanan, said: “This listing is fantastic recognition of Senergy’s continuing growth and expanding global footprint. To be one of only nine Scottish companies to feature in this list of 200 is a tremendous achievement.
“We have maintained our ambitious commitment to evolving our business this year by expanding facilities and collaborations across the world – from joint-venture research projects with universities in Malaysia and the US, to opening a new Middle East facility in Dubai, while at the same time, bolstering our base with a new office in Aberdeen.
“Our success has come from the way we have developed our business to become a specialist diversified energy services company. We have developed a strong track record for delivering technical excellence across the hydrocarbon and alternative energy sectors and we will continue to consolidate this position as we continue to build on our ambitious vision for growth and expand our geographical reach.”
The listing was compiled by Oxford-based research and networking events company, Fast Track.
