Ternan Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Senergy. It was formed in
2003 and specialises in regional geological studies. Based on the play
fairway approach, the studies are designed for evaluation and screening
of exploration opportunities.
Our report authors have considerable exploration experience in the
Northeast Atlantic and other areas worldwide and have produced a suite
of reports which are widely used within the industry.
To date studies available extend over the northern North Sea basins,
Norwegian Sea, and the Irish Rockall and Porcupine basins. We are
currently working on the West of Britain, and this study is due for
release in 2009. Future studies are planned for Arctic areas.
Play fairway mapping combines the distribution of reservoir,
hydrocarbon charge and topseal, to provide a regional view of
geological prospectivity. This can be used for rapid assessment of
acreage in mature or frontier areas.
